Modus Operandi
Modus Operandiis the platform developed by Culturanuova for the integrated management, conservation and enhancement of cultural heritage.
Developed from more than thirty years of experience in the fields of documentation and restoration, the system was designed to connect technical and scientific data, digital archives, operational activities and multimedia communication tools.
Since the early 1990s, the work carried out within major restoration projects has led to the development of innovative digital documentation methodologies, which have gradually evolved into a true cultural infrastructure capable of linking research, conservation and public dissemination.
The platform enables the acquisition, organization, correlation and dissemination of information from multiple specialist fields — including surveys, diagnostic imaging, scientific analyses, historical documentation, 3D models and audiovisual contents — supporting different levels of use: technical-scientific, institutional and public-oriented.
Thanks to its modular and interoperable structure,Modus Operandican communicate with external applications through dedicated APIs, becoming a centralized system for content distribution to touchscreens, web platforms, museum applications, educational tools and immersive environments.
Within this framework, documentation is not conceived merely as a specialist archive, but as the foundation for new forms of knowledge, communication and public engagement.
